Curriculum vitae

I completed Bachelor of Science (8.57cgpa) in 2016 and Master of Science (9.69cgpa) in 2021 majoring in Microbiology from University of Mumbai, India. The title of my Master’s thesis was “Repurposing of Drugs against the Molecular Targets of ESKAPE Pathogens” supervised by Dr. Rohini Patil.

I have also completed Diploma in Bioinformatics (2019-2020) with A grade from St.Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai. The diploma thesis was titled “Structural Predictions and Effect of Mutation on Tap (RV1258c) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis: An In silico Approach” supervised by Dr. Karuna Gokarn and Prof. Norine D’Souza.

I have worked as a Research Assistant at Advanced Center for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Mumbai. As a research assistant I was actively involved in the Digital Pathology field with Dr. Swapnil Rane.

As a trainee (Training Virutal Research Camp) in Taipei Medical University, Taiwan my study was mostly focused on targeting small phyto compounds on the envelope proteins of viruses using computational methods supervised by Prof. Dr. Liang Tzung Lin.

As  PhD student at Life, Environment and Drug Science Department  I am working on Ancestral tropism and Structural Characterization of Envelope Proteins of Human Endogenous Retroviruses under the supervision of Prof. Enzo Tramontano.

Part of this project is carried out in Taipei under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Liang Tzung Lin, and upon completion, I will obtain a double degree.
