The Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Teaching in Engineering and Architecture (Laboratorio Interdisciplinare per la Didattica in Ingegneria e Architettura – L.I.D.I.A.) was funded by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia as part of the P.O.R. FESR 2007–2013 “Regional Competitiveness and Employment Objective,” Axis I – Information Society, Activity Line 1.2.2.c.
The laboratory provides spaces and equipment for graphic design, modeling, advanced drawing, and automated computation, as well as for carrying out educational activities across various fields of engineering and architecture.
Its facilities are distributed across the teaching and research locations of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and are organized into four specialized areas:
> Multifunctional Laboratory
> Software Laboratory
> Graphics Laboratory
> Models Laboratory
The first two are located within the Piazza d'Armi Campus, while the others are housed in the Ex-Mauriziano Building in Via Corte d’Appello, which hosts the degree programs in Architecture.
The laboratory is managed by a Coordination Committee, composed of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (or a coordinator appointed by the Dean) and two professors nominated by the Faculty Council.
Access times and procedures for the laboratory spaces are detailed on the respective subpages of each laboratory division.
