The European Commission recognises with the HR Excellence in Research Award the institutions which make progress in aligning their human resources policies to the 40 principles of the “European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct” (C&C) based on a customized action plan/HR Strategy for researchers.The University of Cagliari subscribed to the commitment to implement the C&C principles in 2005. UniCa has decided to prepare and embrace officially the HRS4R strategy on November 8th, 2022. In November 2023 UniCa submitted the candidature dossier. On March 20th 2024, the European Commission confirms officially that the application meets the criteria and the HR Excellence in Research award is granted. Thus, UniCa moves to the implementation phase of the action plan, next step of the HRS4R process for the next 2 years.
