Curriculum vitae

Matteo graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Cagliari in July 2017 after the dissertation of an experimental thesis called “Preparation and characterization of DMPC-glycerosomes for the topical delivery of Diclofenac”.

After graduation, between 2018 and 2019 he worked as pharmaceutical representative for relevant Italian factories such as A. Menarini and Italfarmaco spa. During the summer of the same year, he got the pharmacist license and worked as a pharmacist too.

In October 2019 he won a fellowship and worked on the project “Tackling biological barriers to antigen delivery by nanotechnological vaccines (NanoTechVax)” under the supervision of Professor Anna Maria Fadda untill September 2020.

He has been a PhD student in the PhD Program in Life, Environmental and Drug Sciences (Drug Sciences Curriculum) offered by the University of Cagliari. Under the supervision of Professor Maria Manconi, he is studying and developing innovative drug delivery systems.

His project is under joint supervision with Jose Luis Pedraz, Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
