Advanced Medical Simulation Centre
The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, with the activation of the Advanced Medical Simulation Center, managed to propose an additional teaching support activity.
It can count on mannequins such as the ALS Simuletor and SimMan ALS which allow to strengthen the skills in Airway Management, Evaluation of respiratory activity, Palpation and auscultation, Resuscitation with fluids, ECG interpretation, Defibrillation , Ultrasound evaluation and diagnosis.
Thanks to the simulation, students have the opportunity to reproduce cases or critical situations that could arise.
Moreover it is also a way to improve the team work of all the figures involved, who will have to collaborate to achieve the 'common goal.
