The lab offers speed and image acquisition of fast dynamic processes in live specimens or fixed tissues, reducing photo damage.

The lab is equipped with an inverted fluorescence microscope, widefield with confocal spinning disk allowing rapid dynamic studies, 3D localization, Z stack, time-lapse and multiple positions: simultaneous acquisition at different wavelengths, even on fresh samples to reduce photo-toxicity. A refrigerated microtome is also available for sample preparation involving tissue immuno-staining and microscopy.

Our equipment: Inverted fluorescence widefield microscope with confocal spinning-disk, Crisel Instruments; CRYOSTAR NX 70 refrigerated microtome, Thermo Fisher Scientific.
