The lab is devoted to the characterization of thermal, electrical and magnetical properties of solid state materials?.

The lab employs a h24, fully automated measurements system devoted to the characterization of electrical, magnetical (up to 9 Tesla) and thermal properties of solid state material. Due to an integrated Helium liquefier and recovery plant, measurement can be performed as a function of temperature between 1,8 and 400 K, in an effective and cheap way. The lab expertise is mainly focused on innovative materials for electronics, but specifically tailored experiments can be addressed on different materials on demand.
