[ 2hours ] Biology, DNA and proteins
This seminar will review basic concepts of biology, focusing on the role of DNA, RNA and proteins, and protein structure.
[ 2hours ] Protein folding and dynamics
Mutations often act by destabilizing protein folds. This seminar will explain the energetics and dynamics of proteins and protein folding.
[ 2hours ] Mutations and methods to analyze them
This seminar will review the different effects a mutation can have and commonly used approaches to predicting whether a mutation will be damaging.
[ 2hours ] Recent advances in mutation analysis
This seminar will present our recent results in analyzing and predicting the effects of mutations together with some preliminary results on effects of mutations at the DNA level.
