Language learning for students with DSA/BES disabilities
The University Language Centre (CLA) closely collaborates with the S.I.A. Office Servizi per l'Inclusione e l'Apprendimento (SIA) to support students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), or other special educational needs (SEN), thereby facilitating a more accessible language proficiency assessment.
Students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), or other special educational needs (SEN), are required to submit a request to the SIA Office to access special arrangements (compensation and modified materials) for tests and speaking evaluations. Due to the necessary procedures for this support allocation, it is imperative that requests for written and oral examinations in English or other languages (level assessments, placement tests, UniCa-CLA Project/ACL Service) be submitted via email to tutor.sia@unica.it at least 15 days prior to the examination date.
To enhance communication with students with disabilities, specific learning disorders (SLD), or other special educational needs (SEN), it is always possible to schedule an appointment regarding specific needs with tutors via email at tutor.sia@unica.it
