Seminars integrated with the Industrial Software Development course (MSc Computer Engineering)

These seminars are an integral part of the ISDe course (MSc Computer Engineering)  but they are open to everyone.

In addition to an opportunity to study the software development methodologies adopted by the invited companies, it is an opportunity to get to know companies in which an internship could be carried out.

The first meeting is scheduled for November 15th at 9 am, room M, with AVANADE.

Title: Xamarin Cross platform app integrated with Azure Service 

Abstract: This seminar will deal with the use of Azure and Xamarin micro-services. We will create a service on Azure and a mobile Xamarin application that connects to the Azure backend.

Title: A journey to the Cloud with Amazon Web Services 

Abstract: Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides on-demand information technology solutions and cloud services with a consumption-based pricing plan. In this seminar, after a brief introduction to AWS and an overview of the service offering, we will dive deep on methodologies and tools for building modern architectures. We will discuss about DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and we will talk about microservices, containers and serverless architecture.
