International Economics 2023-24

The course starts on Tuesday, February 27th at 12:00 pm. Students who plan to attend are advised to register in the MS Teams space dedicated to the course, named 'International Economics IM 2023-24.' To join the team, click the button 'Unisciti a un team' located at the top left of the MS Teams initial page, and use the code 'arbctmc'. Once you are a member of the team, you will gain access to all the information about the course and the format of the final exam, as well as teaching materials such as slides and textbooks.

Slides -- Where you can find them

The current version of the slides for Internationa Economics can be downloaded from the MS Teams "Materiale didattico" channel (file: "Slides IntEcon 2022.pdf"). In this version I have added a few slides on OFFSHORING (pp. 123-129); and I have moved all the material that will not be part of the exam to the newly created APPENDIX that you'll find at the end of the file. You can ignore this Appendix when preparing for your exam.

International Economics. New info

IE is a 36-hour course. 24 hours will be based on traditional teaching, with me explaining the core models of International Trade theory and practice. 12 hours (or less, depending on how many students take the course) will be available for your own presentations based on a topic chosen from a list I have prepared for you. You are also welcome to propose additional topics not included in my list. More information inside.

International Economics lectures schedule: change

For reasons beyond my control, lectures on International Economics will begin on APRIL 26 and NOT on February 28 as previously announced. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to you. I take the opportunity to remind you that a ppt file with 100+ slides is already available to download, covering all the topics included in the course. To download the file, go to MS Teams and click "Unisciti a un team o creane uno". Enter the code arbctmc when required. This will allow you to join the "International Economics IM" team and access all the available teaching material.

Informazioni sugli esami per l'AA 2021-22

Gli appelli di esame previsti per l’AA 2021–22, e quindi a partire da Dicembre 2021, si terranno unicamente in presenza, previa iscrizione sulla piattaforma S3. Per poter accedere all’aula di esame sarà necessario esibire un documento di identità e il green-pass. Piattaforma e-learning del corso "Economia Politica Dispari 2021-22"

Gli studenti sono invitati a iscriversi alla piattaforma e-learning del corso "Economia politica, Docente: Pigliaru" al link: https://elearning.unica.it/course/view.php?id=1320 utilizzando le proprie credenziale Esse3. L'iscrizione al corso è obbligatoria per poi poter sostenere l'esame che prevede domande a risposta multipla. Nel sito gli studenti avranno a disposizione numerosi esempi di domande a riposte multipla che serviranno come esercitazioni in vista dell'esame finale.

Economia Politica 2021-22: come iscriversi al team del corso

La matricole dispari sono invitate a iscriversi al team dedicato al corso sulla piattaforma MS Teams. Il team è denominato "Economia Politica dispari 2021-22" e per diventarne membri dovete usare il codice di accesso qfzcynh. Questo spazio della piattaforma MS Teams verrà utilizzato per le lezioni in remoto, per rendere disponibile il materiale didattico, per accedere alla registrazione delle lezioni, per il ricevimento, per comunicazioni e domande tra docente e studenti.
