In the light of national regulations and of the University’s strategies and guidelines for ongoing improvement, the Department of Law of the University of Cagliari promotes the quality and the monitoring and assessment processes of its Research and Third Mission activities, as well as of the Department’s Teaching responsibilities, through a Self-Assessment Committee (CAV).

Specifically, the Department’s Self-Assessment Committee:

Submits to the Head of the Department the organisation and related functions, responsibilities and timelines for the Department’s QA;

Checks that the requirements of the ANVUR guidelines for periodic crediting have been met;

Monitors compliance with the Department’s QA System;

Reviews the Department’s QA System and draws up a report for the attention of the Department’s bodies;

Proposes to the Head of the Department actions to improve the Department’s organisation;

Fills in the parts of the SUA-RD (Annual Report on Department Research Activity) and SUA-TM (Annual Report on Third Mission Activity) falling within its competence;

Gives its opinion on the documents provided by the Department’s QA System before submitting them to the Council for approval.

The Self-Assessment Committee was appointed by the Department Council on 8 July 2024 and is made up as follows:

Prof.ssa Maria Virginia Sanna – Head of the Department;

Dott.ssa Michelle Patrizia Verdoliva – Member, administrative secretary of the Department;

Dott.ssa Silvia Orrù – Quality assurance representative of the Department

Prof. Daniele Amoroso - Member, third mission representative

Prof. David Durisotto – Member, teaching coordinator

Prof.ssa Silvia Izzo – Member, research coordinator
