Join us at the 10th International Conference on Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (COMPDYN2025) for an engaging minisymposium titled *New Strategies in Computational Modelling of Sustainable Constructions*. This event will bring together leading minds in the field to discuss groundbreaking advancements and innovative solutions for sustainable building practices.

Minisymposium Highlights: Considering the numerous factors influencing environmental changes, engineers and researchers are increasingly confronted with challenges in developing sustainable constructions. A comprehensive understanding of the behavior of new structural materials is essential. Key design issues include the computational modeling of construction materials incorporating recycled components, the behavior of structural elements composed of diverse materials, the modeling of interfaces between different materials, and the application of innovative materials in structural elements.

This minisymposium will showcase recent advancements in this field, drawing together academics, researchers, students, and professional engineers.

The scope of discussion will encompass, but is not limited to, the following topics:

- Behavior of Reinforced Concrete with Recycled Aggregates: Exploring structural performance and durability with advanced computational modeling techniques.

- Modeling Techniques for Multi-material Elements: Investigating the integration and behavior of hybrid materials like timber-concrete composites.

- Laboratory Testing Protocols: Simulating standardized tests to evaluate the properties and impact of sustainable materials.

- Strengthening of Existing Constructions: Optimizing the use of innovative techniques and materials for retrofitting.

- Design of Non-standard Construction Materials: Analyzing non-traditional sustainable materials such as rammed earth and bamboo.

Our goal is to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration, advancing sustainable construction practices and contributing to the development of eco-friendly building solutions.

Date: 15-18 June 2025,  Location: Rhodes Island, Greece
