Cagliari’s main city beach, stretching for several kilometres.

Ideal for a walk, a swim or a sunset aperitivo. Easily reachable by public transport from the city centre.

  • By bus: CTM bus line PQ, 5 or 3 from the city centre.
  • Travel time: approximately 20–30 minutes.
  • By taxi: about 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Tip: Ideal for late afternoon or sunset, with many cafés and restaurants along the promenade.

Molentargius–Saline Regional Park

A protected natural park between Cagliari and Quartu Sant’Elena, famous for its pink flamingos.

Perfect for nature lovers, walking and cycling, just a few minutes from the city.

How to get there:

  • By bus: CTM bus lines 3 or 31 (stops near the park entrances).
  • By bike: bike rentals are available in the city; the park has dedicated cycling paths.
  • By taxi: approximately 10–15 minutes from the city centre.

Tip: Early morning or late afternoon are the best times to see flamingos and enjoy cooler temperatures.
