Double Degree

A Double Degree is awarded when students complete a Degree Programme whose curriculum has been jointly designed by two Universities and regulated by a specific agreement. Double Degree students will alternate attendance between the two Universities, within set parameters of course content and duration, and will be awarded both degrees after their final exams, which can also be held jointly.

There are agreements between the International-Unica and Prague Degree Programmes (Czech Republic) and between International-Unica and Bielefeld (Germany).

All First-Year teachings take place in Cagliari in Italian, although lectures are delivered in English from the Second Year.

While students enrolled in the International Unica-Prague Degree spend their second year in Prague and then return to Cagliari for their third year, those enrolled in the Unica-Bielefled Degree stay in Cagliari for their second year and spend their third and final year in Bielefeld.

All information on the Double Degree can be found in the Bilateral Agreement, in the Learning Plan and the Regulations published below.

Double Degrees are available for all students who are enrolled for the first timeever in the National University System. The selection procedure is illustrated below.

The first requirement is passing an English Proficiency Test at the B2 level (or producing suitable international certification at the same level). For the Unica-Prague Double Degree, this requirement must be met by 28 February 2024, for the Unica-Bielefeld, the deadline is 30 July 2024.
