Current Research Fields
My main research interest is studying international relationship and, above all, reconstructing the role played in European politics by single personalities during the XVII and XVIII centuries. Foreign policy made by ministers (men and women who, in many ways, actuated for the foreign policy during modern age) who played a role in the main European courts during the complicated period from Thirty Years War to Succession’s Wars represents the object of my current research. Recently my investigations focuses on dynastic legitimacy, especially with reference with women’s regency.
