Abstract
The paper provides an analysis of the latest labour market reform in Italy, called Jobs Act. The path of reform began in March 2014 and is not yet completed, but the goals are crearly outlined in the measures already approved until today. he reform is placed in the wake of the two previous ones, aiming to accelerate and extend the replacement of standard employment with "fragments of work", extending further the model of flexibility based on temporary work completely controlled by the companies. Through the almost total elimination of the constraints to dismissal (only the public employment remains outside), the reform makes it possible to divide up employment into "pieces" that will result in new work careers, combining in sequences that are variously subsidized with more or less prolonged and recurring periods of unemployment. In this way, the reform does not address the most relevant problems of labor, but improves the process of re-regulation of labor relations.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
