Abstract

Riccardino, a posthumous novel by Andrea Camilleri, was conceived to close the narrative cycle of Inspector Montalbano. But it also contains a metaliterary reflection on the nature of the relationship between the writer and his creature, in which echoes of Pirandello, Simenon and Unamuno can be found.
