Abstract
The paper focuses on the case law originated from the judgment of the CJEU in case C-128/15 Petruhhin and developed in subsequent judgments, implying a coordination between the domestic and international rules in matters of extradition and the principles of the TFEU concerning European citizenship and free movement of persons. In particular, the paper aims to define the general framework arising from those judgments, clarifying the meaning of the reference to the European Arrest Warrant in this context and the capacity of the mentioned case law to disclose some general characteristics of the European Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, including the position of neighbouring non-EU countries with which the European Union has «a special relationship».File | Dimensione | Formato | |
