Abstract
Villa di Chiesa (Iglesias) was the first city in Sardinia to be annexed to the Crown of Aragon in February 1324. In the years between the end of the Pisan rule and the beginning of the Catalan era, many notables of Iglesias, originally from Pisa, placed themselves at the service of the Aragonese king. Otherwise, other citizen opposed the victors, having relations with Cagliari and trying to promote internal resistance: some of them were arrested and their assets sold at auction. The essay offers the complete edition of the Liber bonorum rebellium domini infantis, in which the camerlenghi Guillem de Riu and Duodo Soldani recorded the extraordinary revenues resulting from the auction sale of rebel's assets.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
