Abstract

The article analyses the third country nationals migration phenomenon from a EU labour law perspective. The main idea s that notwithstanding the lack of a comprehensive EU migration policy, the European Employment Strategy gives some hints on how to reach the ambitious EU employment rates and to create an inclusive society. A brief comparative analysis of the National Reform Programs shows that in some Member states migration is seen as a resource and measures are taken in order to reduce all possible disparities of migrants in order to enhance their chances of entering the labour markets.
