Abstract
Chorioangioma is the most common tumor of placenta. Usually it is small in size, less than 4 cm in diameter, asymptomatic and so is only accidentally diagnosed during routine ultrasound or after careful histologic examination. It is a benign, non-trophoblastic vascular tumor coming from the primitive chorionic mesenchyme whose etiology and pathophysiology is still unknown. Its prevalence is about 1% of all pregnancies. In larger tumor, various and significant both maternal and fetal complications are reported.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
