Abstract
The excavation of the north-western part of the Confraternita del Rosario’s property revealed a long, almost rectilinear wall made up ofbasalt blocks with some sandstone elements. In the absence ofother structures defining a building provided with a roof, it should be interpreted as a part ofan enclosure whose shape and size are unknown. The study presents the ceramic finds and a small bronze dagger, which are well framed in the cultural aspect of the Early Iron Age of the Oristano region, already documented at Mont’e Prama. The post-nuragic occupation affected mostly the surface layer, lasting, almost without interruption, till the early mediaeval period. The study also presents the nuragic finds from atriumA1 and the post-nuragic finds from building A. During the punic period (5th-4th cent. B.C.) room A was occupied by a dwelling, which caused the destruction ofthe nuragic arrangement.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
