Giulio Vignoli graduated in Physics at the University of Ferrara (with a thesis on Time-Reversal Symmetry and Hadrons Structure) and received a Ph.D. from the same institution with a thesis focusing on inversion strategies. He is currently Associate Professor of Applied Geophysics at the University of Cagliari and Adjunct Senior Researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS). Before that, he worked at Aarhus University (Denmark), KFUPM (Saudi Arabia), the University of Padua (Italy), and the University of Utah (USA). His research interests include geostatistics and near-surface characterization, especially via airborne electromagnetics and seismic surface waves.
