FORMAZIONE  E TITOLI

1. Laurea in Ingegneria Civile Edile presso l’Università degli Studi di Cagliari, conseguita il 10.11.1989 con la votazione di 110/110 e lode discutendo la tesi “Verifica sperimentale della procedura di collaudo di travi in cemento armato indicata nella stesura provvisoria dell’Eurocodice 2”, Relatore Prof. Ing. E. Pozzo;
2. Vincitore del concorso nazionale per 10 Borse di Studio annuali del C.N.R. (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche); svolge la ricerca nel campo dell’ingegneria strutturale, presso l’Università di Cagliari – titolo della ricerca “STUDIO DELLA VISCOSITÀ A TEMPI BREVI IN TRAVI DI C.A., FINALIZZATO ALLA STIMA DELLA SICUREZZA STRUTTURALE”;
3. Frequenta con profitto il corso di perfezionamento in “Costruzioni in cemento armato” presso l’Università degli studi di Cagliari”.
4. Vincitore di assegno di ricerca (art. 51 comma 6 – Legge 27.12.1997, n. 449) presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Strutturale dell’Università di Cagliari, titolo della ricerca “Studio di una procedura non distruttiva per valutare le caratteristiche resistive di murature in pietra”;
5. Consegue il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Ingegneria Strutturale presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Strutturale dell’Università di Cagliari dal 2003, titolo: “Restauro e consolidamento statico e sismico di murature”.

Dal 2002 è Ricercatore di Tecnica delle Costruzioni – Settore Scientifico Disciplinare ICAR 09 – presso l’Università degli Studi di Cagliari.

ATTIVITÀ DIDATTICA

Dal 2003 al 2008 ha tenuto il corso di “Scienza e Tecnica delle Costruzioni”, presso il Corso di Studi, in Tecnologia per la Conservazione il Recupero dei Beni Culturali”, “Ingegneria Elettrica” e “Ingegneria Chimica”, Facoltà d’Ingegneria dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari.

Dal 2004 al 2009 ha tenuto il corso di “Scienza delle Costruzioni” presso il Corso di Studi in “Ingegneria Ambientale”, Facoltà d’Ingegneria dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari, sede AUSI di Iglesias.

Dal 2005 al 2007 ha tenuto il corso di “Tecnica delle Costruzioni C”, presso il Corso di Studi in “Ingegneria Strutturale Laurea Specialistica”, Facoltà d’Ingegneria dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari.

Dal 2007 al 2009 tiene il corso di “Tecnica delle Costruzioni” presso il Corso di Studi in “Edilizia”, Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università di Cagliari.

Dal 2010 fino al 2017 tiene il corso di “Laboratorio Integrato di Progettazione 1 – Modulo Tecnica delle Costruzioni” presso il Corso di Studi Magistrale in “Architettura”, Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università di Cagliari.

Dal 2017 è titolare del corso di "Tecnica delle Costruzioni" per il Corso di Studi in "Scienze dall'Architettura", Facoltà di Ingegneria e Architettura Università di Cagliari.

Dal 2020 è titolare del corso di "Teoria e Progetto di Ponti" per il Corso di Studi Laurea Magistrale "Ingegneria Civile", Facoltà di Ingegneria e Architettura Università di Cagliari.

ATTIVITA’ SCIENTIFICHE E CULTURALI

I principali temi di ricerca di cui si occupa sono:

• collaudo di strutture;
• tecnologia e prestazioni del calcestruzzo;
• metodi di indagine con prove non distruttive;
• gestione e pianificazione delle operazioni di manutenzione delle strutture.

3. Curatore del Convegno “I Controlli nelle Costruzioni secondo le Nuove Norme Tecniche (D.M. 14.09.2005)”, organizzato da Dipartimento di Ingegneria Strutturale dell’Università di Cagliari, svoltosi a Cagliari il 30.01.2006.

2008-2010. è Tutor del XXIII ciclo del Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria Strutturale.

2. Tutor della Tesi di Laurea ““Condition assessment of Concrete Bridge by Visual Inspection using fuzzy mathematics” di Nishad Nagesh Kulkarni, del Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India.
3. Relatore della Tesi di Laurea “Verifica di Deformabilità di un Solaio a Piastra in c.a.p.”, dello studente Davide Di Naro, 3° classificata al Concorso Nazionale “Premio: Miglior Tesi Di Laurea Realizzata Con Midas Gen E Midas Civil”.
4. Advisor della 12th International Conference on Inspection, Appraisal, Repairs and Maintenance of Structures, 23-25 april 2010, Yantai China.

Dal 2010 è membro IABSE (International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering).

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Cagliari on 10.11.1989 with the grade of 110/110 cum laude with the thesis "Experimental verification of the test procedure for reinforced concrete beams as indicated in the provisional draft of Eurocode 2", supervisor Prof. Ing. E. Pozzo;

Winner of the national competition for 10 annual study grants from the C.N.R. (National Research Council); carries out research in the field of structural engineering at the University of Cagliari - title of the research: "STUDY OF VISCOSITY AT SHORT TIMES IN REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS, AIMED AT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF STRUCTURAL SAFETY";

Successfully attended the advanced course in "Reinforced concrete construction" at the University of Cagliari.

Winner of a research grant (art. 51 paragraph 6 - Law 27.12.1997, no. 449) at the Structural Engineering Department of the University of Cagliari, title of the research: "Study of a non-destructive procedure to assess the resistive characteristics of stone walls";

He obtained his PhD in Structural Engineering at the Department of Structural Engineering of the University of Cagliari in 2003, title: "Restoration and static and seismic consolidation of masonry".

Since 2002, he has been Researcher in Structural Engineering - Scientific Disciplinary Sector ICAR 09 - at the University of Cagliari.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES

From 2003 to 2008 he held the course of "Science and Technique of Constructions", at the Course of Studies, in Technology for Conservation and Recovery of Cultural Heritage", "Electrical Engineering" and "Chemical Engineering", Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cagliari.

From 2004 to 2009 he held the course of "Construction Science" at the Course of Studies in "Environmental Engineering", Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cagliari, AUSI site in Iglesias.

From 2005 to 2007 he held the course of "Technique of Constructions C", at the Course of Studies in "Structural Engineering Specialist Degree", Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cagliari.

From 2007 to 2009, he held the course in "Construction Technique" at the "Construction" Course, Faculty of Architecture of the University of Cagliari.

From 2010 to 2017 she holds the course of "Integrated Design Laboratory 1 - Construction Technique Module" at the Master of Science in "Architecture", Faculty of Architecture of the University of Cagliari.

Since 2017 he has been teaching the course "Construction Technique" for the Master of Science in "Science of Architecture", Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of Cagliari.

Since 2020 he has held the course "Theory and Design of Bridges" for the Master's Degree Course "Civil Engineering", Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, University of Cagliari.

SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The main research topics she deals with are:

- testing of structures;

- technology and performance of concrete;

- investigation methods with non-destructive tests;

 - management and planning of maintenance operations of structures.
