Elisabetta Gola is Professor of Philosophy and Theories of Languages ??in the Department of Pedagogy, psychology, philosophy of the University of Cagliari. Outgoing Coordinator of the degree course in Communication Sciences, she is Vice-Rector for Communication and Image.
Her research interests are related to the processes of comprehension and in particular to the theoretical and practical aspects of metaphors. More recently, she has devoted herself to the study of the languages ??of social media and to the study of effective communication in both speech and writing. In various research projects and third mission activities, she has explored the issues related to the potential of technologies in communication, particularly in teaching, public communication, social and health communication, and in the valorization of cultural heritage.
She directed two editions of the Master in Management of Communication Products and Services at the University of Cagliari and teaches in the Master in Social Communication in Rome Tor Vergata, in Digital Philosophy at the University of Udine and in Scientific Communication at the University of Parma.
She is part of the Board of Directors of the Interuniversity Consortium for the UnitelSardegna Telematic University.
She is part of the Board of Directors of the Society of Philosophy of Language.

Prof. Gola was appointed Vice-Rector for Communication and Image.
