Academic position

Since 2020 Associate Professor in Geomatic

From 2002 to 2020 researcher at University of Cagliari (Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile, Ambientale e Architettura) in the ICAR06 – Topografia e cartografia

Research activity

Her research interests include: GPS, Network of Permanent Station, Trasmission of differential correction (DGPS and RTK) via internet, Digital photogrammetry, Cartography and Topographic DB.
In the recent years she has focused her reserach in the development and study of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), the WEBGIS, the Location Based Service and the Geoservices for sensor networks. Other research field is related to the study of the laser scanners technique and Close Range Photogrammetry  to cultural heritage monitoring and conservation.

She has published over 80 papers in national journals, international conferences and Proceedings about to the research topics listed above.
 

Since 2020 she is in the border of PhD school  in Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Cagliari 

From 2006 to 2012 she was in the border of PhD school in Scienze Geodetiche e Topografiche to the Parthenope of Napoli University.
Since 2009 she is Associate Editors of “Applied Geomatics” edited by Springer.
Since 2007 she is member of the Executive Commitee of the Italian Photogrammetric Society (SIFET)
From 2004 to 2010 editing secretary of the Bollettino di Fotogrammetria e Topografia (SIFET)

 From 2012 to 2016  she was co-chair in the ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) WG II/7 Intelligent Spatial Decision Support

From 2016 to 2022 she was co-chair in the ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) WG IIV/6: SDI: Internet of Things and Spatial Decision Support Intelligent Spatial Decision Support della Technical Commission IV: Spatial Information Science
