DICAAR is the polytechnic expression of the University of Cagliari, where a wide range of multidisciplinary expertise converges. Its establishment is the result of a clearly defined cultural, educational, and scientific project, grounded in an open and inclusive perspective.

The Department’s mission is to foster the scientific culture of design, planning, protection, restoration, and enhancement of the environment, the landscape, architectural and historical-archaeological heritage, structural and infrastructural assets, the territory, and georesources, in the broadest sense of the term.
