The Directorate for Quality, Library Services and Museum Activities is organising the cross-curricular course 'Scientific Research: Sources, Tools and Evaluation' for doctoral students.

The course aims to introduce the topics of scientific communication, copyright, Open Access, and research evaluation. The main tools and resources for carrying out effective bibliographic searches will be presented (this module will be differentiated according to the subject area). At the end of the course, the student will have a better understanding of electronic research infrastructures, of tools and services available for publishing, including open access, and of how to evaluate the scientific productivity of researchers.

All meetings will take place online, on the Teams platform. Although meetings will be held in Italian, it will be possible to ask questions in English and we offer to assist students who need it at a later date TBD.
