Abstract
The purpose of this contribution is to analyze the ways and forms through which the processes of restructuring, and partial convergence, of university systems based on excellence and merit are “reshaping” gender inequalities within the university. In this regard, the processes of subjective representations are investigated in order to highlight the emergence of some engendered myths, namely “imbued” with gender content. The aim in fact is to explore how the transformations of the recruitment and management systems of researchers/professors - especially through the merit and evaluation myths – are redefining gender self-representations of the women who have reached the apex of the academic hierarchy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
