Saludus a totus!

I am a theoretical physicist exploring the interface among cosmology, theoretical particle physics, and astrophysical observations.

I am interested in constraining the fundamental properties of dark matter and dark energy through their phenomenological signatures. To that end, I develop and exploit advanced computational tools for phenomenological modelling, data comparison and forecasts. I am also interested in the cosmological tensions and anomalies, as a possible hint of new physics beyond standard cosmology.

My current work is mostly focused on extracting insights on cosmology and fundamental physics from current and future Structure Formation, Gravitational Wave (GW), and Multi-Messenger observations.

I was born and I lived my first 23 years of life in Sardinia, not far away from its capital city, Casteddu, and even less far away from the seaside.

In 2012 I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Physics at Università degli Studi di Cagliari (Sardinia).

In 2015 I obtained a Master Degree in Theoretical Physics at Università degli Studi di Torino (Italy).

In 2019 I obtained a Ph.D in Astrophysics & Cosmology at SISSA, Trieste (Italy), during which I had also carried out a fellowship at the Institute for Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology (TTK) at the RWTH University, Aachen (Germany).

From 2019 to 2022 I was a Post-Doc Researcher in the PACT (Particles, Astroparticles, Cosmology: Theory) Team at LUPM - Laboratoire Univers & Particules Montpellier (France).

From 2022 to 2024 I was an Assistant Professor in the Astroparticle Physics Department at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), L'Aquila (Italy).

Since 2024 I am an Assistant Professor within the Gravitational Theory and Cosmology group at the Physics Department of Università degli Studi di Cagliari (Sardinia).

I am currently part of the GW Science Working Group of the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) collaboration, and a member of the Cosmology Division of the Observational Science Board (OSB) of the Einstein Telescope collaboration.
