Visiting researcher at Eri@n (Energy Research Institute at Nanyang Technological University - Singapore) Oct - Dec 2023;
Project: thermal evaporation of highly efficient and stable metal-halide perovskite solar cells.

 

Visiting researcher at Northwestern University (Illinois-USA), Department of Chemistry (June 2019 – Sept 2019);
Project: perovskite chemistry, research on the synthesis of new solid state materials with interesting optical properties, preparation and characterization of lead-free perovskites.

 

Post doc position at University of Cagliari (Italy), department of Physics (Oct 2012 – Oct 2018);
Skills: synthesis, fabrication and optical, electric and structural characterization of lead-halide hybrid perovskites for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications. Solar cells fabrication based on lead-halide perovskites and Bi2S3 colloidal nanoparticles.
Surface characterization by optical microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) and contact angle. Spectrophotometry and spectrofluorimetry UV-Vis, measurements of photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). Solar cells characterization through power conversion efficiency (PCE) and external quantum efficiency (EQE). Characterization by X-ray diffraction (XRD) on epitaxial films and powder.

 

Post doc position at University of Sassari (Italy), LMNT Laboratory of Materials and Nanotechnology (Jul 2010 – Jul 2012);
Skills: synthesis and characterization of sol-gel mesoporous oxides (SiO2, TiO2) thin films deposited by dip-coating e spin-coating. , X-ray scattering with synchrotron radiation (SAXS, GISAXS, GIWAXS). Mesoporous thin film patterning by deep X-ray lithography with synchrotron radiation (DXRL).

 

Visiting scholar at Purdue University (Indiana-USA), Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering (Nov 2009 – Apr 2010);
Skills: X-ray scattering, nanostructured thin films, and energy conversion devices.

 

Post graduate position at L-Ness (Laboratory of Epitaxial Nanostructures on Silicon and Spintronics), Como (Italy); (Jul 2007 – Dec 2007)
Skills: characterization of epitaxial Si1-xGex surface difects. Use of clean room e glove box for semiconductors surface cleaning and activation.
