Riforma(r)eFamiglia50 is the first of a series of annual initiatives developed by SPOL to support important anniversaries in civil, political and social history and make them an opportunity for debate, in-depth focus and research. In 2025, it will be fifty years since the law reforming family law: was it a revolution? Where are we today? How are families changing and what does “family” mean? How many ways are there of building and being a family?

From the first semester of A.Y. 2024-2025 and throughout 2025, we will address this myriad of issues through the many different perspectives of our disciplines.

• The list of activities that will be included in the family, within individual degree courses or through seminars or conferences (families in progress),
• The list of activities that will involve associations or single persons outside the University (outside working environment)
• Posters announcing the exact date and time of each single forthcoming appointment announced in the families in progress and outside working environment (agenda)
• and, foremost, our family album: profiles of the scholars who in the Department (from when it was called the Faculty of Political Science) have developed research on the topic of the family and who through their teaching, have turned SPOL into a community open to the world.
