The Degree Course periodically organizes supplementary activities and seminars and publicizes them with specific notices. For supplementary activities and seminars not directly organized by the Degree Program, students must request credit recognition before attending the seminar. This request must be submitted to the coordinator (coord.biologia@unica.it), who will submit it to the Council. Please note that the number of credits recognized depends on the Degree Program and not the organizer of the activity, as it depends on the extent to which the activity contributes to achieving the educational objectives required of a biologist.
To register for seminars, students must submit a single register (Biology Seminar Register) at the end of their studies, listing all seminars attended (eight hours of seminar participation with a final assessment earns one credit toward elective activities). Seminars can earn up to three credits.
Please also note that seminar certification must be requested no later than 20 days before the expected graduation date, to allow the Coordinator to verify and issue the certification to the Student Secretariat.
