Gianluigi Farru is a researcher (RtdA) at the Department of Civil, Environmental Engineering and Architecture. He holds a master's degree in environmental engineering and obtained a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Technologies (XXXIV cycle). His doctoral research focused on the conversion of organic waste matrices into high-value products through the thermochemical hydrothermal carbonization process. Since the academic year 2022-2023, he has been co-teaching the course on "Inquinamento Ambientale e Processi di Risanamento" in the Environmental and Land Engineering program.
