Department of Civil, Environmental and Architecture Engineering

Full Professor, PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at the School of Architecture, University of Cagliari DICAAR - Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture. 
She teaches Urban Planning Fundamentals and Techniques and she is currently member of the PhD board in Civil Engineering and Architecture. She has coordinated also the PhD in Cultural Heritage and Environmental Goods and she is a member of the Territorialist Society, founded by Alberto Magnaghi and managing editor of the journal “Scienze del Territorio”. She hold a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at University of Cagliari and she graduated in Ancient planning, Topography and Archaeology at University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Her main scientific interests are oriented to formal and functional reading of the city, historic settlement analysis and interpretation, cultural
heritage management and the role cultural and environmental resources (as factors of long-lasting and sustainable local development) play in the urban planning processes. She has been Visiting Professor in Poznan, Cluj Napoca and Bordeaux. She has coordinated and leads several international and national projects on these topics. She has been member of scientific research projects and she is responsible for research projects.
