Teaching Materials for the activity CHEMISTRY APPLIED TO THE RESTORATION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE

Based on the topics covered during lectures and presented in the slides made available by the instructor, students are expected to research and further explore these subjects using the following university-level textbooks:

1) John Kotz, Paul M. Treichel, John R. Townsend, Chimica, Edises
2) P.W. Atkins, Chimica generale, Zanichelli.
3) L. Campanella, A. Casoli, M. P. Colombini, R. Marini Bettolo, R. Matteini, L. Migneco, et al., Chimica per l’arte, Zanichelli
4) Mauto Matteini, Argangelo Moles, La chimica nel restauro. I materiali dell’arte pittorica, Nardini Editore Scienza e Restauro.

For each academic year, the lecturer will create a dedicated Team on the Microsoft Teams platform to share all course-related announcements and upload teaching materials (lecture slides, an example of a written exam, and any additional resources deemed useful for reinforcing specific topics).

Students are advised to contact her via email (valentina.mameli@unica.it) at the beginning of the academic year to be added to the Team and gain access to all materials.
