On Thursday October, we will be doing file 1B from the book.
In preparation, you NEED to read the text (attached here) on page 10.
The grammar for the lesson is discourse markers - so do the (attached) grammar bank 1B before Thursday. 
I have also attached a supplementary page (from my teacher's book - you don't have that) for extra practice with discourse markers. 

If you want, you can read the attached text on pages 12 and 13. It's up to you.
