I am glad to invite you to submit an abstract to the COMPDYN 2023
Minisymposium entitled “Design of structures under extreme loads” and organized with Marco Simoncelli and Marco Zucca

The minisymposium will allow to present the recent advances in this field by attracting academic members, researchers, students and professional engineers. The field of application may include (but is not limited to) the following issues: 
- Definition of different typology of extreme loads 
- Modeling techniques for the structural behavior of non-standard structures under blast and fire loads;  
- Design of tall structures (steel wind turbines, chimney, high-rise buildings, etc.) for wind and/or seismic loads; 
- Non-linear dynamic analyses;
- Design and development of vibration mitigation systems/devices; 
- Design of structures made of thin-walled and non-symmetric members; 
- Robustness scenario for framed structures, bridges and strategic buildings.

The interested authors should submit their Abstracts to this Minisymposium using the online system of the Conference website https://lnkd.in/dpBJX3u7 and the unique MS Code: MS-37-CAN.

The deadline for abstract submission to MS 37 “ Design of structures under extreme loads ” is 15 November 2022.

In order to submit your abstract, first you need to register at the Conference website. After completing this pre-registration form (alternatively click Register at the top-right of the Conference webpage), you will receive an email to validate your Account. After validation, you will receive a second email with your username and password, which will be used to login to your COMPDYN 2023 Account. From your Account Overview Menu click My Abstracts/My Papers, click Submit an Abstract, choose Submit to Minisymposium and enter the MS code: MS-37-CAN and proceed with the Abstract Submission following the instructions.
