Exciting News Alert! Our research paper, "Assessment of RC bridges integrity by means of low-cost investigations," is now available for open access!

Infrastructure aging is a pressing issue, especially in countries like Italy where major motorways were constructed 50 years ago. With substantial budgets required to maintain these vital structures, there's an urgent need for efficient assessment methods to ensure their reliability within Bridge Management Systems (BMS).

Our research aims to address this need by offering a robust decision-support tool for analyzing data collected through field inspections. What sets our approach apart is the incorporation of two key factors: the precise location of damage and the mechanical properties of the materials, which together form a Condition Rating Number (CRN).

We're thrilled to present the results of our analysis on an existing Reinforced Concrete (RC) bridge network, demonstrating the accuracy and effectiveness of our innovative method.
