UniCa Outgoing Students

Dear students,

you are required to fill in the Learning Agreement (LA) using the official form. The LA must include at least 15 ECTS per semester; however, it is preferable to include 30 ECTS, so that even in case of failed exams, the student can still return with at least 15 credits.

Students who wish to know in advance whether, and to what extent, the courses they plan to take abroad can be recognized in their study plan must send a single email, organized as follows:

Email subject:
ERASMUS – First Name Last Name – Degree Programme – Assigned Destination

Email body:

  • Title of UniCa course (Lecturer’s name) → TO BE REPLACED WITH Title of course I at the host university + link to course syllabus
  • Title of UniCa course (Lecturer’s name) → TO BE REPLACED WITH Title of course II at the host university + link to course syllabus
  • etc.

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Include only courses you will actually be able to attend, based on your semester of mobility (e.g. do not include second-semester courses if you are going abroad in the first).
  • Do not include courses for which you have already passed the exam.
  • Do not request recognition for courses that are clearly inconsistent in terms of content or academic level (e.g. Marketing instead of Microeconomics).
  • Do not insist on including only courses that are eligible for direct conversion: if a course is of real interest to you, it can be included under free elective credits (there is no limit to the number of ECTS that can count toward this category).
  • Avoid vague or confusing requests, such as multiple options for the same conversion (e.g. "I would like to convert A with B, C or D").

Note: For any other administrative matters not related to the Learning Agreement, please contact the ISMOKA offices directly.
