L’Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) ha organizzato un webinar formativo in lingua inglese dedicato all’open access, e in particolare al processo di pubblicazione che gli autori devono seguire. Il webinar si terrà il 7 maggio alle 15.00 e avrà una durata di 90 minuti. Il webinar si rivolge a docenti e ricercatori e la partecipazione è libera e gratuita, previa registrazione all’evento a questo link.

Per il periodo 2022-2024, l’Università degli studi di Cagliari ha sottoscritto con IEEE un contratto trasformativo, che consente agli autori affiliati di pubblicare in open access sulle riviste idonee dell’editore senza costi per le APC.

“The webinar will provide authors with best practices in preparing a manuscript, navigating the journal submission process, and important tips to help an author get published. It will also review the opportunities authors and academic institutions have to enhance the visibility and impact of their research by publishing in the many open access options available from IEEE.

This session will feature the perspective of Dr. Petar Popovski, Professor of Aalborg University, Denmark, who will provide critical insights on IEEE’s peer review and submission processes as well as tips on what editors look for in submissions. Presenters will also cover topics such as open access programs for institutions, research strategies using the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, author tools, and other valuable resources.
