This project aims to investigate how the role of creativity-based training affects technostress and emotional as well as cognitive regulation strategies. Indeed, especially in recent years, the intensive use of digital technologies in teaching has transformed teachers' work, increasing the risk of technostress. The sample consists of secondary school teachers recruited from all over Italy. The aim is to clarify whether creativity training can promote alternative adaptive strategies to deal with technostress among teachers, given its protective
role in recent scientific work. Thus, we expect (I) a reduction in technostress and (II) an increase in digital competence and self-efficacy. The expected results may offer new perspectives for teacher training, suggesting strategies for a more conscious and sustainable use of digital technologies in education.
In this project, I am specifically involved in:
- Recruitment activities of secondary schools in Italy.
- Quantitative data collection
- Data analysis
