Exams can only be taken after the corresponding courses have concluded and any prerequisites have been fulfilled.
The University’s Academic Regulations state that the annual number of exam rounds for each course must not be fewer than six, with a minimum interval of two weeks between them.
To meet students’ needs, the Degree Programs under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture ensure at least 7 exam rounds per year, distributed across 3 periods (see the teaching calendar):
1st period (January – February): 3 dates
2nd period (June – July): 3 dates
3rd period (September): 1 date
Furthermore, for each Degree Program, overlapping exam dates for courses taught in the same academic year are avoided.
Students enrolled on schedule ("in corso") may only take exams during the designated exam periods.
Additional rounds are provided for students who are out of schedule ("fuori corso") and for final-year students who have completed their courses. These include, at least, one round between October and December, and one round between March and May.

Students who completed their courses in the previous academic year and do not intend to pay tuition for the new academic year—because they expect to graduate by the final session of the previous year (February)—or students conditionally enrolled in a master’s program, must email the educational managers
