Based on the Academic and Teaching Calendar, which is approved annually by the Academic Senate and Faculty Council, the program establishes the class schedule to optimize student time on campus, balancing personal study schedules with commuting to and from the faculty.
To harmonize resources, the Faculty collects requests from each program, finalizes the calendar, and assigns classrooms to each course based on expected enrollment and the type of instruction.
Detailed information
Classes for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year will begin on March 3rd, 2025.
Students are advised to check the web agenda daily for any class changes or cancellations.
Classes will be held in person, with no seating restrictions, but security protocols will be followed. They may also be supplemented with audiovisual materials and streaming.
Booking a seat through the UniCA Easy app is not mandatory and is not required for attendance tracking (which will be recorded in class). However, it is recommended, as it allows students to receive notifications about changes to the booked class (e.g., room, time, or date changes).
Additional specific policies, student guides, and handbooks are available on the university website.
Health surveillance for laboratory activities
A new physical examination process has been implemented for the 2024/2025 academic year.
At the beginning of the academic year, students were invited to complete a form to submit their data for scheduling a physical examination.
Students who completed the form have already received, or will soon receive, an email at their @studenti.unica.it address with the date and location of their appointment.
Appointments will be prioritized based on the need for laboratory activities in courses and programs.
Students who have not yet completed the form (previously available via the QR code in the classroom) must inform both the instructor of the laboratory course and the coordinator of their program.
