Self-Assessment Committee – CAV
The Self-Assessment Committee of the Degree Programme plays a central role in promoting the continuous improvement of the study path.
It is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance of the Degree Programme and, in this capacity, defines and proposes the organisation of the related activities, identifying responsibilities, operational methods, and appropriate timelines. The Committee also ensures compliance with the national requirements for the periodic accreditation of the Degree Programme, a condition that is essential to maintain its official recognition and the full validity of the degree awarded.
A particularly important aspect of its work concerns the verification and evaluation of actions aimed at improving the management of the Programme, as well as the analysis of the consistency between the declared learning objectives and the overall structure of the study path. In this perspective, the Committee carefully monitors data concerning students’ careers and experiences, with the aim of identifying potential critical issues and proposing corrective or enhancement measures.
The Committee is also responsible for drafting the main self-assessment tools of the Degree Programme, namely the Annual Monitoring Report and the Cyclical Review Report. Through these documents, which represent a structured and shared moment of reflection, the strengths and areas for improvement are analysed, providing a clear and transparent picture of the Programme’s progress and of its objectives within the framework of multi-year planning.
