Abstract
The article provides a summary of the activities carried out by LUDiCa, the Digital Humanities Laboratory of the University of Cagliari. Starting with some preliminary considerations on digital nativity and the sense of estrangement induced by current technological transformations and their impact on humanities studies, the contribution demonstrates the strategies through which LUDiCa endeavours to mobilize the sensibilities and skills of students by employing an approach that combines intellectual speculation and practical activities conducted in the field, even involving non-academic audiences. This action aims at triggering new and operational awareness useful for positioning oneself as professionals in the field of culture in a rapidly and constantly changing reality.
