Abstract
The subject of this article is the presentation and analysis of phraseological units characterizing food in the German language. With the example of 'cheese' as a typical representative of the traditional German food culture and of 'Kebab', a relative new entry in the German-speaking world (Trenk 2015) the use of the so-called trophotisms is presented in different usage contexts and examined according to formal, lexical and semantic criteria.File | Size | Format | |
