Abstract
A longitudinal-transverse waveguide slot coupler has usually been modelled as a shunt-series ideal transformer. This is not true, nor is an approximation, even for resonant couplers. In this paper, we first present a discussion of the properties of such a slot coupler and of the admissible approximations which can be used in the coupler modelling. Then we derive an equivalent circuit in the form of a nonideal admittance inverter, which becomes an ideal one for resonant slots, and set the limit of the model itself.Items in DSpace are protected by copyright, with all rights reserved, unless otherwise indicated.
