Explicit formulas for non-geodesic biharmonic curves of the Heisenberg group

Abstract

We consider the biharmonicity condition for maps be- tween Riemannian manifolds and we study the non-geodesic bihar- monic curves in the Heisenberg group H_3. We prove that they are helices, and we obtain their explicit parametrization.
